Starting Over Sessions — A Month of Voice-Note Coaching

$300.00

You want to stop being paralyzed by fear.

You know you need to move on — you've known for a while — but fear has you frozen. You think about it at 3am. You talk yourself in circles. Another month goes by and nothing changes.

Or maybe you've already taken the step — by choice, or because life didn't give you one. You did the brave thing. And now you're standing in the middle of this new version of your life feeling overwhelmed and completely alone, wondering if you made a terrible mistake.

You didn't. You're just in the part nobody posts about — the messy middle, after the leap and before it feels like home. And you don't have to stand in it alone.

You don't need more advice. You don't need a course. You need someone to lean on while you find your footing.

That's what this is: a month of not doing it alone.

Someone in your corner who won't judge you — and who's actually been there. You probably know the Iran chapter — fleeing with a newborn in my arms, seven months separated from my husband and my three-year-old. But that wasn't my first starting over. Just the most dramatic. Years before that, I made my way across Asia with no phone or wallet and $24 in my pocket.

I've also started two businesses with less than $100 to my name. Been stranded in the Chilean desert for months and turned it into something I cherish instead of something that broke me. Been postpartum — alone, broke, heartbroken. Lost someone I loved and learned what it takes to keep living. Sat across from family who love me and shame how I live in the same breath.

I've rebuilt my life over and over again. Starting over isn't something that happened to me once. It's what I do — and I'm still here, making art about it.

This is for you if you're:

  • Going through a divorce or separation — or newly on the other side of one, figuring out who you are now
  • Grieving someone or something you've lost
  • Moving somewhere new — or you already moved, and the reality is lonelier than the dream
  • Changing careers, leaving a job, or staring at a blank next chapter
  • In the middle of any major life transition that has you feeling stuck or overwhelmed
  • Standing in a new version of your life, wondering if you're going to be okay

This probably isn't for you if:

  • You want someone to tell you what to do. I won't — I'll help you hear what you already know.
  • You're not ready to be honest with yourself yet. That's okay, but I'm not useful to you until you are.
  • You're looking for a quick fix. This is a month of sitting in it, not a weekend of bypassing it.
  • What you're carrying needs a therapist, not a companion. I'll tell you honestly if I think that's the case.

A month from now, you won't be where you started. You'll have made the decision you've been circling for months — or you'll finally know which one is actually yours. The 3am spiraling will have loosened its grip. You'll have said the scary thing out loud to someone who didn't flinch. And you'll have a roadmap, in your own words, for what comes next — not a plan I handed you, but the one you talked yourself into, one voice note at a time.

I'm not going to hand you wisdom from above. There's no script here — every conversation takes its own shape. But here's what tends to happen: I listen to your whole voice note before I say a word. I reflect back what I heard — usually the thing you said without realizing you said it. I ask the question that's been sitting underneath everything. And more often than not, we land on one small, concrete next step. Not a five-year plan. A step.

That's usually enough — because the clarity was in you the whole time. You just couldn't hear yourself through the noise.

This isn't paying $300 to vent to someone who just says “I understand, I'm sorry.” My goal isn't to be your paid friend. It's to get you through this to the other side.

The practical stuff:

  • You tell me your story in a short questionnaire — as much or as little as you want
  • We talk on WhatsApp voice notes, weekdays. No calls, no scheduling, no performing. You send when it comes up, I reply within 24 hours
  • At the end of the month, I write you a personal roadmap

Why voice notes? Because the bravest things are easier to say when no one's watching. You don't have to get dressed, show up, or perform being okay. You can ugly-cry into your phone at 3am. You can listen back to your own words and hear the answer you didn't know you'd already said. And the whole conversation lives in the thread — you can re-read it on the hard days.

Honestly? I hate Zoom calls — the performing, the having to be ‘on,’ even when I'm the one getting help. Voice notes take all that pressure off. You can be making breakfast and just talking. And it can be 3am, when you're overthinking and questioning every choice and you just need to get it out of your head to fall asleep — you can just put it out there. Everything you share stays between us, always.

I know it can feel weird to pay for emotional support — like it makes it fake somehow. Historically we'd have a village for this, and that's the kind of world I'd love to move toward again. But the sad reality is most of us don't have as much support as we need. Recognizing that, and tenderly caring for yourself enough to fill that gap, isn't weird.

And me charging for this doesn't mean my care isn't genuine. It means I'm human, with only so many hours in a day — and I have to prioritize the things that help me care for my family. If caring for you helps me care for them... that isn't weird. That's the best kind of blessing.

Price: $300 for the month.
Early access: $150 through the end of October. I keep my client list small, so space is limited.

And if a week in you feel like this isn't for you, just tell me and I'll send your money back. No weirdness, no hard feelings. I'd rather you leave feeling respected than stay feeling unsure.

Questions you might have:

Is this therapy? No — I'm not a clinician. But don't mistake that for unqualified. I've spent years studying how people move through hard things, practicing it in my own life, and sitting with others in theirs. If what you're carrying needs professional support, I'll tell you honestly. That's care, not rejection.

What if I can't even articulate what's wrong? Then start there. Send me the mess. Half-formed, 3am, doesn't-make-sense voice notes are the whole point — you don't need to arrive clear.

How much time does this take? Whatever you have. A five-minute voice note while making breakfast counts. No calls to schedule, no performing. Sometimes there'll be a small step to try between our exchanges — never busywork, always something that actually moves you.

What if my situation is too heavy? Nothing you tell me leaves the conversation, ever. And I've sat with heavy things before. But I'm honest about my limits — if something is bigger than what I can hold, I'll say so and help you find someone who can.

After you check out, I will send you the questionnaire link myself within a day — tell me your story in there, as much or as little as you want, and then we will start our WhatsApp thread. No portals, no waiting rooms.
